This beautifully outfitted storage cabinet is a great example of early Scandinavian minimalism. With metal tags on back from NK (Nordiskakompaniet) in Stockholm, with production dated January, 1943. Nordiskskompaniet, still in existence in Stockholm, offered the very finest furniture in Sweden in this period and showcased many important early Swedish modernists. Rendered in very clear elm wood. Wood had a gold hue. The extraordinary interior is configured of shelves and sliding shelves. All constructed by craftsmen in a way which is rarely seen-even in this period. In great condition after a light restoration with finish looking great and all joinery in pristine condition. Ready to give you a lifetime of good use.
