Wheel thrown Hermosita earthenware vessel by ceramicist Andrew Wilder. This is a one of a kind object made in the ancient way- by hand in a small artisanal pottery. In this series Wilder explores the application of lichen under glazes to achieve jewel, moss and rust like effects. This vessel is the result of multiple kiln firings and multiple glaze overlays. Made by hand in Los Angeles, California not intended to hold food or water.
