“Laburnum”-a wheel thrown earthenware vessel by ceramicist Andrew Wilder.
This is a one of a kind object made in the ancient way- by hand in a small artisanal pottery. In this series, named Ginter Park,Wilder explores the application of lichen under glazes to achieve jewel, moss and rust like effects. This vessel is the result of multiple kiln firings and multiple glaze overlays.
